About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee employer sales and servicing within an Employment Region focused on Transition to Work (roles catering to young job seekers aged 15-24 years). The role will concentrate on direct marketing, vacancy gathering and management, development of pre-employment programs, Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

As part of this position, you will be required to travel across the region. Holding an unrestricted driver's licence and possessing the ability to drive are essential requirements for this role. This is a full-time, ongoing position based at our Bunbury Site.

You will also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full-time employee in addition to the ability to salary package.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employers within the Employment Region or State to maximise employment opportunities for young Transition to Work Participants.
  • Build and manage high-quality pre-employment programs for employers or industry, suitable for Transition to Work Participants.
  • Collaborate with young people, especially those who are culturally or linguistically diverse, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, and young people with a prior offender history.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively and maintain attention to detail.
  • Hold a current driver's licence.
  • Have at least 12 months of recruitment and/or vacancy management experience.
  • possess strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite and ability to type (minimum 30 words per minute).
  • Hold a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or Youth or be able to obtain one with Workskil Australia's support.
