Green Recruitment Company is excited to collaborate with a prominent corporate advisory firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financial consulting across various sectors, including Renewable Energy and Infrastructure.

As part of their ongoing expansion throughout Australia, they are seeking a Senior Associate to contribute to M&A transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including the development of intricate financial models from the ground up, valuation assessments, and due diligence to facilitate M&A transactions in the renewable energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
  • Work closely with senior team members to execute transactions, managing relationships with clients, purchasers, and other stakeholders.
  • Aid in the negotiation and structuring of transactions, which includes reviewing legal documents and coordinating with external advisors.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying prospective clients, participating in meetings, and contributing to marketing strategies.
Your Profile:
  • 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or M&A.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or CFA certification is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in constructing complex financial models from scratch.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet stringent deadlines.
  • A genuine interest in the renewable energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, coupled with a desire to cultivate deep industry knowledge.

This position is ideal for individuals with prior investment banking M&A experience; however, candidates with strong financial modeling skills from other backgrounds are also encouraged to consider this opportunity.
