High Impact Payroll Project Specialist

The company is seeking an experienced professional to implement a high-impact project. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of payroll and long service leave legislation, with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities include converting and reconciling long service leave entitlements for 1,000 employees. This involves extrapolating timesheet data from multiple payroll systems across different states, converting calculations from hours to weeks for migration into the new system, handling both straightforward and complex cases, investigating and verifying data, including paper-based records, and applying the correct long service leave codes with accuracy and compliance in mind.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have demonstrated experience in payroll processing, a strong understanding of long service leave legislation and entitlements, high attention to detail with analytical skills for legacy and paper-based data, and ability to work independently while following direction from the Payroll Manager.
