Royal Flying Doctor Service Of Australia is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Dentist to join their team of dedicated professionals in providing essential dental services to rural and regional communities across Victoria. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our communities.
About the RoleAs a Mobile Dentist, you will be responsible for providing a range of clinical dental services to patients in rural locations throughout Victoria. You will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and support.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dentistry, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. You will have excellent clinical skills, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A current registration with AHPRA and a valid Victorian driver's license are also required.
In exchange for your expertise, you will receive a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a generous not-for-profit salary packaging arrangement, which can provide up to $15,900 free income per tax year, plus additional benefits such as meals and entertainment allowances.
Responsibilities- Provide a range of clinical dental services to patients in rural locations throughout Victoria

- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Develop and implement effective infection control practices, ensuring a safe working environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and referrals
- Relevant tertiary qualification in dentistry (e.g. Bachelor of Dental Science)
- Current registration with AHPRA and a valid Victorian driver's license
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Ability to develop and implement effective infection control practices
- Capacity to collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and referrals
Royal Flying Doctor Service Of Australia offers a competitive remuneration package, including:
