About this role

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact in the lives of parents and carers of young children. As a mentor, you will work with individuals to build their skills and confidence, helping them prepare for the workforce.

The program focuses on providing person-centred case management, addressing vocational and non-vocational needs, and sending referrals to relevant services. You will engage with community organisations to develop strong opportunities and provide a calm, respectful, welcoming, and child-friendly service.

We take an empathetic approach, building trusted relationships with parents to achieve positive outcomes. Our aim is to support individuals in achieving financial and social self-reliance.

Key requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Empathy and trauma awareness
  • A minimum Certificate III in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent experience
