Job Title:

Maintenance and Operations Supervisor

Overview

The Maintenance and Operations Supervisor will oversee the hands-on supervision of a crew of tradespeople. They will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs and maintenance to equipment within the contract. Additionally, they will assist in providing equipment management solutions to customers while ensuring work is completed in a collaborative team environment with a strong focus on safety.

This role involves working closely with the Shift Supervisor and other teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in leadership or a leading hand position, as well as knowledge of heavy diesel or auto electrician trade qualifications. A strong understanding of Caterpillar equipment and warranty process is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the work of a crew of tradespeople.
  • Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance to equipment within the contract.
  • Provide equipment management solutions to customers.
  • Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Mobile Plant, Heavy Diesel or Auto Electrician Trade Qualification.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or leading hand position.
  • Understanding of Caterpillar Equipment and CAT Warranty Process.
