About the Role

This role will require the ability to:

  • Lead and manage a team of firmware engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software components that meet customer requirements.
  • Provide input to the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities.
  • Participate in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in firmware engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of firmware development, including C, C++, and embedded systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
