Join us in an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on Australia’s future. As Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in shaping the country’s telecommunications landscape.

This position reports directly to the Managing Counsel – Consumer Protection and Marketing, working closely with internal stakeholders to provide commercially focused legal support across various matters. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring compliance with consumer protection laws and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include reviewing marketing materials for digital, broadcast, and print channels; advising on contractual terms of supply with retail service providers; and supporting the management of nbn's trademark portfolio. You will also contribute to the legal design of wholesale products and arrangements, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of post-qualification experience, either in a law firm or in-house (including secondments). A background in Telco, Technology, or consulting for regulated entities is highly valued.

You will work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, fostering a culture of integrity and purpose across the organization. Your attention to detail and inclusive mindset will ensure that legal considerations are embedded into everyday decision-making.
