Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this part-time Finance Administrator role is to manage various financial and administrative tasks. These include timely payments, accounts payable and receivable functions, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, day-to-day administration of bank accounts, credit card facility, and petty cash.

As a key member of our team, you will assist with cyclical tax and accounting reporting processes, including EOM and EOFY. You will enforce financial management policies and good practices in line with delegated authorities.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the daily management of the Accounts enquiries inbox.

Requirements:
  • Strong administration skills and experience, preferably in finance and/or accounting.
  • Knowledge and interest in finance and accounting processes and requirements.
  • Exemplary data management and accuracy, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong computer and financial system proficiency, including Microsoft Suite, and MYOB, ExpenseMe preferred.
  • Well organised, proactive and self-motivated, able to take ownership with minimal oversight.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and dedicated team player.
  • Ability to follow and independently refer to procedures and instructions provided.
  • Ability to problem solve, knowing when to escalate/seek support.
