Strategic Academic Leadership Opportunity

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity for 5 years based at our Westmead Campus.

  • As Principal Fellow, you will make substantial leadership contributions, including guiding the strategic direction of our clinical trials program and leading high-quality research initiatives.

About You
  • You are a strategic academic leader with a PhD in Medicine or a related field and a strong track record in the clinical trial lifecycle from protocol design to successful delivery.
  • Your research is internationally recognised, supported by competitive funding acquisition, high-impact publications, and collaborative networks.
  • You bring extensive experience in supervising HDR candidates and mentoring early-career researchers, alongside a commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • You're skilled at building partnerships across government, industry, and the profession to drive innovation, and you're passionate about translating research into real-world impact.
