This role involves providing personalized support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives. A strong commitment to person-centered care and the ability to build trusting relationships is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a focus on mentoring, requiring a high level of emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and cultural competence. They should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with vulnerable populations
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferred)
- First aid certification and working with vulnerable people check (preferred)
- Casual position
- 8 hour shift
- Work location: in person
