Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic individual with a strong passion for sales. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the market and customer base within their designated region. Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and pursuing new customer opportunities, providing quotes, processing orders, and maximizing client potential within the industrial automation sector.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with both existing and prospective customers by effectively managing and interpreting their needs.
  • Convincing customers that our products meet their requirements in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions to align with both customer and company objectives.
  • Collaborating with pre-sales and engineering teams to devise and propose optimal solutions for customers.
  • Serving as the primary contact for pre-sales technical support, product education, and after-sales service.
  • Analyzing sales performance and costs, providing regular reports.
  • Achieving sales targets and coordinating various sales projects.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives by participating in trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events.
  • Coordinating with other sales team members and technical experts.
  • Working with finance and customers to ensure timely account management and resolution of accounting inquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer opportunities, sales activities, and details in the CRM system.
  • Staying informed about new technologies and applications relevant to our industry through internal Bosch resources.
  • Gaining knowledge of other Business Units' portfolios within Industrial Automation.
  • Adhering to internal procedures for sales, engineering, service, and warranties.
  • Completing assigned training and attending meetings as required.
  • Identifying and developing potential partnerships.
  • Assisting team members and business stakeholders with training, sales efforts, and project scopes.
  • Responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participating in sales meetings with colleagues and management.
  • Performing additional related duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in Industrial Automation, including knowledge of end-of-line packaging, conveyors, and various assembly processes.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Sales experience in Industrial Automation Equipment is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong communication skills.
