Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work across various community teams in the Northwest arm of the New England Northwest (NENW) Mental Health Service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to consumers, providing evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and reduce disability associated with mental illness.
  • Develop and maintain networks of intersectoral links and partnerships within the sector.
  • Guide day-to-day practice and coordination of clinicians, ensuring effective patient care.
  • Escalate clinical and operational matters as needed.

Requirements

  • Hold a qualification in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy, providing eligibility for professional association membership and/or registration through AHPRA.
