The Tasmanian Government is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clerical and Administrative Services Coordinator to join our team at Launceston General Hospital.

In this role, you will provide high-quality customer-focused clerical and administrative services within the Food Services Department. You will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and working in accordance with all policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organise patient menus to ensure they correspond to patients' diet requirements.
  • Liaise closely with Dieticians, Speech Pathologists, Food Service staff, Nursing staff, and patients in matters concerning meal provision and variations to patient diets.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to quality and safety processes.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the Food Monitors Office, including accurate and updated menus for printing, answering telephone queries, relaying messages, and communicating information to relevant parties.
