This is a unique in-house legal role with our fast-growing e-commerce brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the company's legal and compliance needs, overseeing external counsel as needed.
  • Oversee intellectual property (IP) matters including trademark registrations, patents, licensing, and infringement cases.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts for distributors and retail supply agreements.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, IT law, and employment regulations; support international operations.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to protect business interests and drive commercial success.
Qualifications
  • Australian lawyer with current practicing certificate, holding 4-10 years of post-admission experience in private practice or in-house roles.
  • Strong understanding of commercial acumen, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent and team-oriented individual with a proactive approach and solutions-focused mindset.

Requirements

To be considered, you must hold an Australian practicing certificate and relevant in-house or private practice experience. This role is open to qualified applicants who can commit to working in Melbourne based in CBD offices.
