Functional Consultant Role

As a key member of our implementation team, this role is pivotal in delivering successful Workday solutions to clients.

The selected candidate will be responsible for configuring the Workday solution, demonstrating configurations through prototype configuration, and assisting clients in testing the Workday solution.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge across multiple Workday products with a focus on HCM and Talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Becoming an expert in multiple Workday products with a focus on HCM and Talent.
  • Understanding client business requirements and translating them into the Workday solution.
  • Configuring and testing integrations between Workday and 3rd party or custom solutions.
  • Applying Workday's Implementation Methodology to all client engagements to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Skills and QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of functional experience with HR & Payroll software solutions or systems.
  • Recent Australian Industry HR & Payroll experience.
  • Previous consulting experience either with a professional services company or as an internal consultant.
  • Experience implementing or working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP or similar applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Other Essential Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
