About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Capability Improvement Lead to join our team based at Henderson WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing data collection processes, conducting investigations to determine trends and potential issues, and driving continuous improvement across the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitate workshops to agree responsibilities, develop flow diagrams, establish definitions, and document processes.
  • Manage the implementation and reporting of contracted services, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement a process review schedule to continuously improve the data collection process, advancing process maturity and enhancing overall performance.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate activities, ensure seamless execution, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive change through training and workshops, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, or equivalent.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in a collaborative enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record in Continuous Improvement, Project Lead, or Asset Management roles.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with the ability to present professionally to various groups.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Defence security clearance.
Desirable Skills
  • Background in defence industry, enhanced by knowledge in military systems, Asset Management, sustainment, and operational programs.
