The Opportunity

This role reports to the Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor and forms part of an established maintenance crew responsible for maintaining fixed plant electrical and instrument equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ensuring all electrical work is completed and recorded in line with statutory regulations and requirements.
  • Assisting with electrical isolations and permitting when required.
  • Troubleshooting electrical components and control systems to determine causes of failures.
  • Mechanical checks on electrical equipment.
  • Recording all work orders to a consistent high quality.
  • Allocating parts as per work order instructions.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
  • Providing feedback on business improvement opportunities.
  • Taking a proactive approach to safety, including identifying and reporting hazards and adhering to Life Saving Rules.

This is a permanent full-time role operating on a 8:6 day shift, 7:7 night shift FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region. The ideal candidate will have a WA 'A' Grade Electrical licence, Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation, and High Voltage switching ticket.
