About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support our team in Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring site quality processes, implementing control measures, and identifying areas for improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain a quality system aligned with our company's policy and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and implement a continuous improvement system to ensure root cause analysis and lessons learned are properly initiated and maintained.
  • Work closely with the installation team and engineering to ensure work is completed safely, in accordance with quality standards, customer requirements, and schedule.
  • Ensure that all inspections and tests are performed in accordance with the quality plan and participate in inspections according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control processes, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Qualify personnel and maintain related documentation.
  • Participate in nonconformance and technical change requests and drive completion of QA corrective actions in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure calibration of measurement tools and track compliance.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections.
  • Support the site team with quality processes, short- and medium-term work planning, engineering/installation procedures, and field supervision tasks.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Quality Control or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, and schedule.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in quality for large hydro power projects or similar industries. Construction and/or E&M experience is required.
  • Technical and operational knowledge of QA systems aligned with ISO:9001.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.
