Role Overview
UNSW Australia is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals for casual teaching opportunities in 2024 courses across the School of Global and Public Law.
We are particularly looking for professionals conversant with and passionate about the law to join our experienced Teaching Fellow community, delivering high-quality education and fostering a stimulating learning environment.
About the Role
Casual Teaching Fellows will be engaged in teaching across the LLB, graduate JD, and LLM programs, contributing to the university's mission to provide interactive and immersive educational experiences. The ideal candidates will possess advanced legal knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience in participatory teaching methods.
The role offers a unique opportunity to share expertise, influence future lawyers, and contribute to the development of global citizens.
Requirements
- A Masters or PhD degree in law or another relevant discipline; or
- A Bachelor's degree in law or another relevant discipline plus at least 2 years of in-depth professional and/or educational experience that demonstrates advanced legal knowledge, independent learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving, and effective communication and interaction skills.
Estimated Salary: AU$75 per hour, based on industry standards and location. UNSW Australia reserves the right not to proceed with any appointment.
