General Practitioner

Seek a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide primary healthcare services in remote Queensland communities. We are looking for an experienced General Practitioner to join our team as a Primary Health Care Registrar.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality general practice services, including history taking, examination, decision making, diagnostics ordering and interpretation, clinical procedures, specialist referrals or secondary care admissions.
  • Provide clinical care of an acute or emergent patient, pending the attendance of retrieval services.
  • Collaborate and liaise with other care providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

Requirements
  • Registration with AHPRA as Medical Practitioner.
  • 3 years post graduate experience.
  • RACGP – GPT 3 or above (at least 12mths community GP experience).
  • ACRRM – CGT 2 and above (with either 6/12 primary care OR 6/12 rural and remote practice OR completion of relevant AST).
  • Ability to meet PHC credentialing requirements.

About The Role

This is a full-time or part-time position available, with a combination of day clinic and overnight clinic rosters. Fractional FTE available (not less than 0.5FTE). 6 or 12-month maximum term contract considered.
