Job Description

Leading a small team to develop plans and schedules is crucial for delivering value aligned with business methodologies. Effective planning ensures projects meet timelines, budget requirements, and high-quality standards against agreed scope.

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for allocating resources efficiently to execute deliverables on time, within budget, and to a high standard. This involves leading agile ceremonies/team meetings, identifying and resolving issues, removing impediments, mitigating and managing risk within agreed tolerances, and ensuring effective communication with peers and executives.

Strong relationships with business partners, vendors, and government agencies are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in managing ICT projects to deliver on time, cost, quality, and scope. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to conduct critical analysis and solve complex problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications or industry recognised certification in Management, Project Management, or a similar field;
  • Experience managing large-scale ICT transformation programs/projects in an Australian Government setting;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to conduct critical analysis and solve complex problems.
