Senior Protection and Control Technical Officer

TasNetworks is seeking an experienced Senior Protection and Control Technical Officer to join our Protection and Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining TasNetworks Protection and Control Systems, providing high-quality technical support to stakeholders, and minimising business risk by identifying and addressing existing deficiencies in protection and control assets.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have extensive field experience in the maintenance and/or commissioning of protection and control assets, sound knowledge of EHV transmission and distribution protection, control, and SCADA assets. You will also be a champion for strong safety culture, have experience with preparing high-quality documentation, and high-level communication, motivation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
