About the Role
At Pyramid Global Technologies, we are currently seeking an experienced Mobile QA Specialist to join our team in Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and performance testing, with the ability to coach and mentor junior and senior QAs. They will be responsible for reducing regression cycle time and implementing BDD strategies.
We are looking for someone with experience in API automation frameworks such as Specflow and Postman, as well as mobile automation frameworks like Appium and XCUITEST. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and Load Runner is also essential.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of modern engineering practices and disciplines, including Agile and Lean delivery principles. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
In terms of technical skills, the ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in programming fundamentals and experience with component, integration, and system testing. Strong experience with API automation frameworks, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS3, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevOps, automation, web security (OWASP TOP10), and accessibility testing are all required.
Bonus points will be awarded to candidates with experience in Azure, ASP.NET core, event streaming, service bus or message queues, Docker containers, NoSQL databases, microservice architectures, cloud computing services (Azure preferred), transactional datastores, and scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
