About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Specialist - Shoes & Sox to join our team at Brand Collective. As a key member of our Buying Department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Buying Manager in providing strategic direction through product and brand architecture
  • Participate in the range building and selection process for third-party brands
  • Interpret and analyze relevant data to identify trends and inform future buys
  • Work closely with suppliers, building relationships, negotiations, buy preparation, and follow-up
  • Attend previews to evaluate seasonal ranges according to each business group's requirements
  • Manage in-season performance objectives through detailed sales analysis of business performance
  • Critically evaluate financial and product attribute information
  • Prepare buying information and documentation in support of in-season, pre-season, post-season, and future buy plans, in collaboration with the planning team
  • Develop networks to gain insights into customer demand, trends, preferences, and opportunities and work closely with the retail team in support of product knowledge (including regular store visits)
  • Provide administrative and strategic support in the buying department
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience as a retail buyer
  • Experience working with 3rd-party suppliers
  • An analytical thinker with high-level attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Organized and well-prepared
  • Excel well under pressure
  • Resilient and open to feedback
  • Excellent communicator and decision maker
  • Willing and eager to share ideas
  • Data-driven and love getting the most out of your numbers
