Job Opportunity:

An Independent Advisor role is available in a leading Federal Government Agency.

The position involves providing expert advice and strategic direction to the agency, drawing on an understanding of lived experience and the disability sector.

Key responsibilities include devising and implementing strategic advice expertise and research to continually improve provision of Advice.

Additionally, the successful candidate will develop advice that considers work plans, corporate priorities, the disability system, and its mainstream interfaces.

They will also manage strategic, advisory, or legislated relationships, write for government organisations, and represent the agency in high-level discussions and negotiations with key stakeholders.

This involves working closely with the agency's Principal Member, members, reference group members, and secretariat to identify and propose solutions to strategic challenges facing the agency and its participants.
