Support Student Growth and Achievement as a Learning Support Specialist

As a dedicated professional in the field of education, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your primary responsibility will be to assist students in achieving their academic and personal goals by providing instructional and classroom management support.
This dynamic role involves working closely with teachers, students, and parents to create a positive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth. You will have the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities, making every day unique and challenging.
Duties and Responsibilities- Support student learning and well-being through individualized instruction and classroom management techniques.
- Assist students with accessing the curriculum, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed.
- Participate in educational activities outside of the regular school environment as required.
- Provide instructional and classroom management support in both general education and specialized settings.
- Assist with administrative tasks and support teachers and other staff members across all classrooms and learning environments.
- Education: Associate's degree is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred, with coursework related to education.
- Experience: One year of relevant experience is preferred; or two to four years in a structured setting if no relevant coursework.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and utilize standard computer tools.
