Job Description

We are looking for an experienced back-end construction lawyer to assist clients in managing disputes during and after the delivery of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of the sector, excellent technical and strategic skills, and a keen eye for detail.

You will work closely with partners and other practice groups to develop your skills and expertise, and have opportunities to work on high-profile and interesting projects. You will be expected to prepare advices, draft legal submissions, and have day-to-day conduct of litigious matters, including instructing Counsel and technical experts.

About the Role
  • Assist clients in managing disputes during and after the delivery of large-scale projects
  • Work closely with partners and other practice groups to develop your skills and expertise
  • Have opportunities to work on high-profile and interesting projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7+ years PAE experience in back-end construction law
  • Advanced knowledge of the sector and excellent technical and strategic skills
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to plan and prioritise work
  • Ability to mentor, supervise, and upskill less experienced lawyers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adjust your communication style based on your audience
