Job Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will collaborate with workers, employers, and allied health professionals to provide safe opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce.

You will provide vocational counseling services using motivational interviewing skills.

You will contribute to injured workers' ability to achieve return-to-work goals through job skills development and confidence building.

Empower clients to present their skills and abilities effectively when seeking employment.

Build strong relationships with local organizations.

Complete written progress reports and various other documents on a regular basis.

Qualifications Required

  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Associate or Full ASORC Membership, Provisional or Full AHPRA registration, or Full AASW Membership
  • Experience in Occupational and/or Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Strong resume writing skills and local labor market knowledge
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with customers
