The role of a Project Engineer is crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of construction projects.

As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives.

Your primary focus will be on administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities
  • Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
  • Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Site Manager or Project Manager
  • Contribute to improvements to existing designs

You will work closely with the site foreman and site staff to deliver project updates in daily pre-start meetings. Additionally, you will coordinate between the site and project office to provide current information, issues, and risks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent
  • Diploma of Project Management in Engineering Science, Building, Construction or equivalent
  • Chartered Engineering Status
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer in the utilities sector
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of utility infrastructure systems, regulations, and industry best practices
