Site Management Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated tradesperson to take the first step into Site Management, with a strong pipeline of ongoing work and secure long-term relationships with clients.

This role requires close coordination with site and project managers to ensure subcontractor compliance, project programs, and budgets are achieved.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the efficient coordination of assigned site activities, while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure site safety and procedures are monitored according to the Project Safety Management Plan.
  • Monitor progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinating with each other.
  • Participate in weekly safety/toolbox meetings, discussing OHS, environmental factors, and quality issues.
  • Inspect works to ensure they are constructed in accordance with engineering designs, contract specifications, and authority requirements.
  • Monitor the progress of construction works and advise project teams and clients of compliance or non-compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate site logistics, materials, and resource allocation.
  • Report to senior management regularly and advise of any current or potential issues.
  • Ensure the Site Diary is completed daily with fully recorded information.
Requirements:
  • A trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction, or Engineering
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in commercial construction
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret building contracts and related property development, building, and design contracts
  • Experience in, and a clear understanding of, Quality, OH&S, and Environmental Management systems
