Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in the Ipswich and greater Region. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering quality services that align with both client and organizational expectations.

You will have a passion for promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. If you are genuinely committed to client advocacy and providing high-quality support services, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized care plans in consultation with clients, their families or guardians.
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication management.
  • Encourage participation in social activities to promote social interaction among clients.
  • Accompany clients on outings or appointments when required.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding client's health status.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III/IV in Disability Services (highly desirable)
  • Prior experience working in disability services and palliative care (required)
  • A current valid driver's license, roadworthy vehicle, NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Card, CPR, and First Aid Certificate (mandatory requirements)
Salary and Benefits

The position is remunerated in line with the Social Community, Home Care, and Disability Award, with a salary range estimated at $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on experience and suitability.
