The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Service Coordinator.
Working out of our Heatherbrae Branch, the key focus of this role is crucial in aligning our technical resources with customer requirements.
The Service Coordinator is the conduit between customers and technical services, playing an integral part in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring timely technical support and smoothly planned maintenance works.
The Role- Schedule and coordinate service appointments to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively and act as primary liaison with the Service, Parts, and Sales departments.
- Arrange required equipment and parts for job completions.
- Monitor and track work in progress to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimise customer satisfaction.
- Ensure field service employees comply with all WHS responsibilities, promoting a safety-first culture within the team.
- Coordinate site access for technicians, including inductions, mobilisation, and training.
- Experience working in a service department is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Trade qualifications in Diesel/Plant Mechanic or Electrical would be beneficial.
- Ability to filter and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Support existing customers through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- You will also have:
- Experience in a similar position, demonstrating exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- A strong technical understanding of earthmoving equipment or relevant trade qualifications.
- You should be a good team player – considerate, professional, and courteous towards others.
