About The Role..

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our team as a Service Manager, providing strategic leadership and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, inclusive employment services across our region. You will be responsible for building strong networks with employers, community partners, and stakeholders to expand opportunities for people with diverse abilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead improvements to the customer and employer experience, ensuring quality, person-centred service delivery.
  • Drive team performance to exceed both quality and performance targets.
  • Manage service area financial performance, meeting revenue and margin targets.
  • Build a high-performing, enterprising workforce through coaching and leadership.
  • Work closely with the Performance Manager to use local data and insights to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Strengthen partnerships with local agencies, referral sources, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure the ongoing development of your team to build a deeper understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Ensure compliance and exceed internal and external performance benchmarks

About You..

You are a confident and strategic leader with a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred services. You know how to create a positive client and employer experience, and you are driven to exceed performance, quality, and financial targets. With strong commercial acumen, you understand how to manage budgets while keeping people at the heart of what you do.

You lead by example, coaching and empowering your team to grow while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You use local data and insights to make informed decisions and drive better outcomes for both clients and employers. You are also skilled at building strong partnerships with community stakeholders and referral networks.

Most importantly, you are committed to inclusive, best-practice support for people with disability, injury, or health conditions, and you actively champion the values of empathy, integrity, and accountability.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in Employment Services
  • Strong financial acumen with responsibility for budgets and P&L
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build and lead a high-performing, cohesive team
  • Background in recruitment and talent management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets and KPIs
  • Confident in managing multiple customer management systems and processes
  • Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain)
  • Working with children's check (essential or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain)
  • Current Driver's License - essential
