Teaching Position Overview

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator who can deliver high-quality learning programs within the Victorian Curriculum framework.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to think creatively and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement teaching strategies that align with the Victorian Curriculum framework.
  • Classroom Teaching: Deliver the allocated curriculum to students, promoting academic growth and achievement.
  • Behavioural Support: Implement Applied Behavioural Analysis strategies for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Requirements
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for educating students with Autism Spectrum Disorder is essential.
  • Creativity and Problem-Solving: The ability to think creatively, anticipate and solve problems is vital.
  • Self-Motivation and Organisation: Self-motivation, good organisational skills, and ability to prioritise workloads effectively are necessary.
Qualifications and Training
  • Teaching Qualifications: A relevant teaching degree and current or provisional registration as a teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) are required.
