Strategic Partnership Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as Head of Executive Office. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment with senior leadership priorities.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a senior advisory or executive coordination role within a complex, high-profile organization. They will demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Executive Office function and ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment with senior leadership priorities.
  • Coordinate with senior leaders to understand diary commitments and manage agendas, briefings, and communications.
  • Support senior leaders in preparation of materials, presentations, speaking notes, and briefings for meetings.
  • Establish a strong working relationship and communication between the Office of the CEO and other teams.
  • Assist senior leaders in preparing meeting agendas and content for organisational information sharing and alignment.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to plan regular team huddles.
  • Partner with the Program Management Office and Chief Strategy Officer to monitor strategic objective progress and escalate risks/issues.
  • Manage and track senior-led strategic initiatives and commitments from governance forums and planning, ensuring visibility and timely risk escalation.
  • Act as a primary conduit for senior-level stakeholder relationships; engage with a complex stakeholder group including government agencies, Paralympics Australia, and others as needed.
  • Align agendas and attendees, prepare content, speaking notes, briefings, and minutes/action lists to ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Coordinate senior representation and input into Games governance forums (e.g., Games Executive Group, City Readiness Steering Committee) and cross-government coordination bodies; ensure timely briefing and alignment with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a senior advisory, chief of staff, or executive coordination role within a complex, high-profile organisation.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Outstanding writing abilities to draft executive-level communications.
  • Strong understanding of governance, public sector engagement, and large-scale program delivery.
  • Discretion, integrity, and resilience in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Proven ability to leverage data for executive decision-making.
  • Experience in major event planning, government relations, or international stakeholder engagement is highly valued.
