Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Child Development Specialist to join our team at EveryKid. As a Paediatric Psychologist, you will play a key role in establishing our new Children and Family Psychology clinic, working alongside other paediatric disciplines to provide comprehensive care to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for children (0-16 years) and their families with developmental needs.
- Therapy and Management: Provide weekly and intensive therapy sessions to achieve goals created together with families, and manage a small team of Psychologists, providing supervision and mentoring.
- Team Collaboration: Work within a multidisciplinary team, including Speech therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Music Therapists, Dieticians, and Exercise Physiologists, to ensure seamless integration of psychological services.
- Reporting and Supervision: Develop and maintain accurate psychometric assessments and reports, and provide clinical supervision, professional development, and guidance to a team of Psychologists.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for program growth and develop strategic plans to achieve our goals.

We are looking for a warm, self-motivated, and driven individual who is passionate about working with children and families. As a Child Development Specialist, you will bring your expertise and knowledge to build a team, exercising your clinical judgement and reasoning skills. You will be required to have full registration with AHPRA, a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and Medicare Eligibility.
