Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chinese Pastry Chef to join our team at BLUEZONE HEALTH PTY LTD. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and crafting various types of wontons, including wrapping and cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and perfect recipes for different fillings according to restaurant standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate new recipes and optimize current offerings.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspaces.
  • Monitor ingredient stocks and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Chinese pastry chef, with a focus on wonton preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional Chinese pastry techniques and ingredients, particularly in wonton making.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and in shifts as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with other Chinese dumplings and dim sum varieties.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification: Food handling and safety certification preferred.
Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
