Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Expert to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products.

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in quality assurance and quality engineering within complex manufacturing environments.

  • To be successful, you will need to have a proven track record of implementing effective quality management systems, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
  • You will also need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

As a Quality Assurance Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection and quality assurance of incoming materials and components in accordance with established inspection plans and criteria.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the entire product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, and procurement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality principles, methods, and tools, including Six Sigma, Lean, and other relevant frameworks.

Professional certifications in quality systems or auditing, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Lead Auditor, are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the inspection and quality assurance of incoming materials and components.
  • Cross-functionally collaborating with Design, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Developing and maintaining risk-based inspection plans for suppliers and components.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns, lead audits, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintaining and managing supplier quality data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
