Job Title:

Data Quality Specialist

Job Description The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and integrity of our data assets. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, implementing process improvements, and developing and maintaining data quality metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar data quality management role.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience in SQL and associated tools.
  • Experience with relational databases and big data technologies.
  • Working knowledge of methods and tools used for data profiling and data analysis.
  • Able to interpret business processes and relate them to application workflow and logical and physical data structures.
  • Able to understand business rules and their enforcement in determining data quality outcomes.
  • Knowledge and experience in industry standard data governance and data management guidelines and practices.
  • Working knowledge of data visualisation tools to create dashboards and scorecards.
