About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on hydraulic systems. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

  • Troubleshooting hydraulic systems
  • Inspecting and repairing hydraulic hoses and fittings
  • Repairing and installing hydraulic circuits, including tilt systems, quick hitch, and hammer systems

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a related field and a diploma in mechanical engineering. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and carrying out maintenance and repair work according to instructions on the repair order
  • Setting and adjusting flows and pressures on machinery
  • Interpreting drawings and schematics
  • Conducting pre-hire inspections to ensure machines meet contractual requirements
  • Completing tasks as per supervisor's written and verbal instructions
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order and calibrating measuring instruments
  • Notifying supervisors of non-functional tools or instruments
  • Keeping work areas and issued vehicles clean and maintaining a safe environment
  • Practicing good time management on all jobs and work carried out
  • Completing electronic documentation, including detailed descriptions of work done and damages observed, along with photos and parts used
