Job Title: Corrosion Specialist

Eptec is seeking a skilled and motivated Corrosion Specialist to contribute to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in the field of corrosion prevention engineering, utilizing cathodic protection and material selection to safeguard buried or immersed metallic structures from deterioration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and surveys to assess pipeline integrity and identify potential risks
  • Commission and maintain cathodic protection systems
  • Diagnose and resolve issues through troubleshooting and repair
  • Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on work performed

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship or equivalent working rights
  • Previous experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or a related field is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites
