We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Account Manager to join our Asia Pacific East Sales and Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision makers at our customer sites, continuously promoting Metso's value-added offering.
This role will involve up to 60% travel, providing opportunities to develop your skills and expand your professional network.
About the Role:
- Deliver profitable business growth through strategic account management.
- Focus on after-market business areas, identifying investment/capex opportunities for the wider business.
- Plan and coordinate activities of any Metso function at the site.
- Seek and coordinate resources and channels for customer-facing activities.
- Understand customer business and present Metso's added value effectively.
- Drive site sales activities, working closely with cross-functional site account teams.
- Maintain and share information on installed base, performance, and shutdown schedules.
- Orchestrate customer satisfaction surveys and closed-loop activities.
- Support Accounts Receivable and payment collections.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgist studies, or similar engineering discipline.
- Site and/or mineral processing experience is advantageous.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Intermediate understanding of accounting procedures, including profit and loss, budgets, and gross margins.
- Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Current motor vehicle license and passport.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time by motor vehicle and commercial flights.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
- Excellent sales and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
