Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced trade-qualified fitters/technicians/machinists with a strong mechanical aptitude to join our team. Our business is dedicated to providing comprehensive mechanical services, specialising in valve services, engineering and machining.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess equipment in the workshop and on-site to evaluate the required scope of works for overhaul.
  • Accurately document information in job cards to enable effective engineering assessments and quotations.
  • Reassemble equipment correctly according to OEM instructions.
  • Perform hydrostatic and gas testing on various valve types and equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed, inspected, and signed off before passing it on to the next operation.
  • Work with minimal supervision and delegate tasks as instructed by management and the Workshop Coordinator.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of production efficiency, lead times, and waste reduction.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and assist in achieving company HSE goals.
  • Maintain and care for equipment, tooling, and machines used.
  • Assist in training workshop apprentices and perform general housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification in mechanical engineering.
  • Pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Current driver's license.
