Echuca Field Service Diesel Mechanic Position

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Diesel Mechanic to support our customers located in Echuca/Bendigo and surrounding areas. This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday.
Your Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
- Providing outstanding customer service to our loyal customers
- Compiling and completing accurate reporting
- Working autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiency
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Liaising with our internal service and parts department
About You:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- Be a qualified Diesel Technician with extensive experience with Caterpillar machines (or similar)
- Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (great to have)
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- Hold a current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)
- Proven ability to be self-motivated and to work unsupervised
