Technical Support Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to provide technical support to our customers in Echuca, VIC. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Cat equipment and their components, including hydraulics, transmissions, and engines.

Key Responsibilities
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic. You will be working Monday to Friday, providing onsite technical support and troubleshooting services to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Diagnosing and repairing Cat equipment and their components, including hydraulics, transmissions, and engines
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring value for money for our customers
  • Compiling accurate reports and maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Liaising with our internal service and parts department


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
  • A Diploma or Certificate in Diesel Mechanics with extensive experience working with Caterpillar machines (or similar)
  • Advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with knowledge of Cat computer diagnostics
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
  • A current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)
