Job Title: Associate Editor, Bunnings Magazine Australia

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality content for our magazine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Editing and proofreading articles, features and other content for publication
  • Commissioning and writing articles, features and other content as required
  • Working with writers and designers to develop and implement editorial concepts and ideas
  • Coordinating and managing photo shoots, including researching locations, booking models and stylists, and arranging logistics
  • Project management and delivery of editorial projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, including responding to queries and providing customer service
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and applying this knowledge to improve editorial standards and outputs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Broad experience in commissioning, writing, subbing and editing, as well as organising and commissioning photo shoots
  • Experience in project management and delivery
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality editorial content
