Content Producer

Reporting to the Content Manager and working within the Brand and Communications team, the Content Producer is responsible for the development, production and timely delivery of visual content across the companies owned and internal channels, with a core focus on delivering optimised content that drives engagement amongst existing customer communities.
The Content Producer is a true shooter/producer/editor role with a diverse mix of creative, technical and organisational skills required. They manage and develop visual content for the clients organic social media presence, SEO blog content, website FAQs, CRM journeys, customer community initiatives and internal projects. The role requires someone who possesses a strong creative mindset, a deep love for digital communication, a passion for visual storytelling, and a willingness to challenge and experiment.
The Content Producer will create and own production schedules, create and work to a set budget including tracking invoices/expenses, and manage talent and talent releases. They also require technical competency and experience in creating visual media, including understand film-making principles (lighting, framing, directing talent, sound recording, etc.) and have knowledge of how to achieve the best technical results with the resources at hand.
As the Content Producer will be involved in the creative process, they should be capable of responding to a creative brief with basic scripting/concept ideas, and can work solo or as part of a crew to capture and deliver visual content.
The Content Producer will also manage posting/scheduling social content and monitoring performance. They are responsible for community management in our social channels, implemented via our CSC team. They will work closely with the CSC team to provide guidance (e.g. tone of voice), standard responses, and act as an escalation point for any issues which the CSC team cannot resolve.
**Responsibilities**:
Pre-Production
- Create and manage shooting and production schedules to ensure content is delivered in a timely and efficient manner
- Create and work to a budget, including tracking expenses, reconciling spend, and inputting into the marketing forecast and actuals budget sheet
- Cast and work with talent
- Creatively respond to a brief through basic scripting, storyboarding and concept ideas to tell a visual story
- Solution-focused when facing production challenges
Production
- Capable of shooting on DSLR or similar
- Ability to work solo or part of a crew to capture and deliver visual content
- Experience in agile film-making, making the most of available resources to tell a story to the highest quality possible
Post-Production
- Edit to a high creative level using Final Cut Pro (preferred) or Premier Pro
- Able to use Photoshop and After Effects for graphics / motion graphics
- Able to optimise content for the various social platforms
- Archive and storage of footage/files once complete
- Ensure content complies with brand guidelines
Social channel management
- Posting/scheduling content on all social channels (primarily Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn)
- Reporting on content performance
- Community management including providing guidance and standard responses, and acting as an escalation point when required
