About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Home Lending Specialist to join our team at CommBank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to customers to help them achieve their home buying dreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to customers to help them navigate the home buying process
  • Conduct first interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions and submit applications
  • Develop business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources and seeking external referrals from existing customers
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank's processes, procedures, and Code of Conduct, including accurately reviewing customers' financial positions and completing security checks
  • Attend regular coaching sessions to develop lending knowledge and skills and coach branch colleagues on best practice
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar home lending role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment
  • Demonstrated business development success
  • Well-developed knowledge of home lending products and current responsible lending legislation
