Job Summary:

As a skilled Fabricator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fabricated products to our clients. You will work closely with our design team to interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate fabrications. Your expertise in welding and fabrication techniques will enable you to produce complex components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding and fabrication of various works in aluminium, stainless, and mild steel using Mig and Tig techniques.
  • Interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrications.
  • Fitting and assembling components into final products by welding, riveting, or otherwise joining.
  • Performing quality assurance checks on fabricated products.
  • Polishing, filing, sanding, TIG Brushing, or cleaning assembled products.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Fabrication Trade qualification or Certificate III in Engineering.
  • Have partially completed a Fabrication Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Possess excellent fabrication and welding skills.
  • Hold a current Australian Forklift licence (advantageous).
  • Proven experience in operating a similar role within a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
